First, we hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during such unprecedented times. Due to the situation with COVID-19, the final unveiling of Janie's Classroom has been postponed. However, we still want to work to get some books for the room!
So we're excited to share two options we'll be working on between now and May 16th:
Over the next month, all proceeds from sales on JanieStrong.com will go directly to buying new books for the classroom! We have added a donation option that will go directly to classroom supplies.
In addition, one of Janie's good college friends and KKG sorority sister, Jen Grover, is pledging money in the form of a running challenge. All donations will be donated directly to Janie's Classroom and will be used to purchase books.

Many of you know our beautiful angel Janie Bordinhao. She was a devoted friend, strong leader and an incredible teacher. She gained her angel wings on January 15th, 2019 after a hard fought battle with leukemia. She was cared for so graciously by Cure 4 the Kids and because of that the JanieStrong Foundation has created Janie’s classroom to help support other kids going through treatment. Now I would love your help in helping to build the classroom library! Her classroom is in need of new diverse books and other basic classroom supplies. With your pledge I’m going to be running for the next 30 days! Every mile will help us raise more money for her classroom.
As a supporter what you can do is donate either a flat amount or a $ amount per mile. Every mile I run over the next 30 days will accumulate. At the end of 30 days my run total will be multiplied to what your pledge was. Feel free to donate anything from $.25 to $1 or even $10 a mile! Anything will help us support Janie’s Classroom!
