The Janiestrong Foundation is honored to donate to Candlelighters for their annual 5K race. A race for families and a race with families, the Superhero 5K is a day where the community join forces and super powers to help those in need! Families and friends from all over the state, country, and world come together and raise awareness and funding for Candlelighters' families.
Candlelighters serves children diagnosed with cancer being treated in Nevada, from birth to age 21. Candlelighters provides family- centered care in which programs and services are available not only to the diagnosed child but their siblings and parents as well. Candlelighters offers bereavement support to families who have lost a child to cancer. Families are provided support contingent on the different stages of the grieving process to meet the needs of the family best. We are fortunate to be able to help support this worthy organization.
