Friendship Books for Marion Earl Library

Posted by Ellen Bordinhao on

Janie, along with her two older brothers, attended Marion Earl Elementary from kindergarten to fifth grade. The school honored her with a beautiful friendship wall as she was a friend to many. We know that friendship brings you up when you're down, inspires you when you're in a rut and friends offer you more than support; they provide an opportunity to give as well as to receive. Sometimes there's nothing better than a friend who needs your help! Friends can seem to hold the world together for us, and in a way they are like a four leaf clover: hard to find and a sign of good fortune. As a way of expressing our gratitude to our friends, we are donating $500 to the school's library to purchase books on friendship.

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. Janie left many footprints.
