Thought we'd fill you in on a couple of updates. Christmas 2024 was quite merry. We were able to help fulfill an angel family's Christmas wishlist. It was so humbling to be able to provide some much needed support for a single mother and her son over the holiday season .
An Uber Eats gift card was sent to a family of a young adult, age 24 and soon to be college graduate majoring in education, who had an 8-inch mass in her abdomen. In technical terms, she has a pseudo papillary neoplasm in/on her pancreas. She was able to receive treatment at UCLA and is recovering nicely from the surgery. We are keeping posted on her recovery.
We sponsored several families for a fun-filled evening on Feb. 1st at the Desert Dogs Lacrosse game. Families were treated to the special event, Tucker Out Lymphoma, honoring Coach Shawn Williams' late son, Tucker and to raise funds for pediatric cancer.
