Quick update on progress being made with Janie's Classroom at Cure 4 The Kids... Developed in conjunction with Clark County School District, C4TK Education Center will be led by Jennifer Morris. Jennifer is a 17-year veteran in education and will be teaching in Janie's Classroom. First, we hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during such unprecedented times. Due to the situation with COVID-19, the final unveiling of Janie's Classroom has been postponed. However, we still want to work to get some books for the room! So we're excited to share two options we'll be working on between now and May 16th: Over the next month, all proceeds from sales on JanieStrong.com will go directly to buying new books for the classroom! It's hard to believe it's been a year since Janie got her angel wings. We think about her every minute of every day. She's incredibly missed, but her memory lives on in so many unique ways.  The JanieStrong Foundation is happy to share news of a new classroom at Cure 4 The Kids in Janie's name. Happy 2nd (Transplant) Birthday to Janie! 2 years ago her oldest brother, Jansen, donated stem cells in hopes of curing Janie's leukemia. The bone marrow transplant gave her a year of spending time with those she loved and living life doing the things she loved. In honor of her birthday, The JanieStrong Foundation sent gift cards to the BMT unit at Diamonds 6 West located at Banner University Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. To celebrate their 10th anniversary of fighting and fundraising, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation held their annual Circus Couture event. An event focused on fundraising to help continue the fight against childhood cancer, we were honored C4TK chose to share Janie's story in front of over 1,200 people. The fundraising event raised an impressive $300,000 and was held at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. All proceeds will support the treatment of childhood cancer patients, including those underinsured, uninsured, or unable to pay for services.
